As mentioned in the notes for the July Health & Wellbeing Partnership meeting, Tony successfully requested to be allowed to join the SPAG and attended his first meeting at County Hall.

There were some very interesting and constructive discussions, and Claire Niebieski, who is Head of Population Health (Lancashire North) for the NHS Lancs & South Cumbria ICB gave a full update.

More funding is coming in to the social prescribing area from the Shared Prosperity Fund and other sources and discussion are ongoing as to how this funding will help the VCFSE sector.

A framework is being constructed and it is planned for this to be in operation by April 2026.

Tony will try to obtain more details re figures, dates etc at the next meeting.
