This project arose when our Trustees suggested setting up a series of discussion/consultation groups on a number of important issues facing the VCFSE sector.
The aim was to bring together member groups and other parties/agencies involved in each issue for informal ’round table’ type discussions overseen by Preston Community Network.
This would hopefully see any particular issues raised being brought to the attention of all members of the group and then to action any suggestions with a view to making a concrete difference by advocating actual change to remedy problem areas.
