Meeting with Preston’s Romanian community attended by the Romanian consul.

Based in Manchester, she is responsible for the entire Romanian community across the North of England, assisting them in a range of issues.

The event was organised by Mirela Craciun of Club Casa Romanilor 2014, the support group for Romanians in the Preston area who are PCN members.

The Consul addressed the meeting and outlined the services she can provide and the gathering was also addressed by Cllr Mel Close and by a unit from the local Community Police group which includes officers of a Romanian background.

PCN agreed to continue to offer assistance where possible to the group and also to attend future events.
