Monday, July 14: Preston Health and Wellbeing Partnership

August 22, 2025 /Posted byTony Dawber / 0 / 0

This meeting was held at Preston Town Hall and was as usual well attended.

Social Prescribing was once more a major topic.

Claire Niebieski, who is Head of Population Health (Lancashire North) for the NHS Lancs & South Cumbria ICB presented an update on her work in this area.

Investment in such areas as SP link workshops and VCFSE infrastructure is being examined and ARRS ie Additional Role Reimbursements, was also being examined.

CB said a Social Prescribing Advisory Group was now operating which discussed these issues in more depth.

Tony asked if he can be accepted into the group so PCN can represent the VCFSE sector at future meetings and this was agreed.

Sarah James who is NHS Integrated Place Leader said work was progressing on a deep dive into health date with more information to follow.
