Tony joined CVS heads from other towns across the county for the latest Lancashire Association of CVSs meeting which took place online.
The issue of the devolution of local government was discussed and Tony advised of the recent ‘Future of Lancashire’ event he attended and the varying views of councils across the county.
There was an update on the State of the Sector Survey which is being rolled out across Lancashire and Cumbria.
There have now been a fantastic 535 responses and the survey closing date has been extended to July 18 so there is still time to complete.
An updates on the LOCAL project was given and also on the Resolve Poverty campaign which is now launching across the county. An initial meeting of interested parties had taken place in Burnley which was very positive and a follow up meeting is being arranged.
