It was lovely to meet the team at our member group SLEAP’s new headquarters in Leyland last week.
Thanks to Stela and her co-workers and volunteers for welcoming me and for showing me round the superb new set up which will hopefully further enhance the services and assistance provided by one of the area’s longest established and most well regarded charities.
SLEAP provide accommodation to 16-25 year olds and work to prevent homelessness in Chorley, South Ribble and Preston.
Services include:
- Supported Lodgings: independent accommodation for young people in the homes of trained community members, with support form the host family and from staff. Can stay as long or little as needed.
