This group meets periodically and brings together representatives of organisations which cover the VCFSE sector in general and seek to co-ordinate the work of the many groups in the sector.

This includes PCN, Wellfest, UCLan’s community arm, the LOCAL project, Lancashire County Council and Preston City Council.

We each updated our fellow groups on current activities and Rosie Paterson of LCC advised that Wellfest would be busy with organising events to mark, among others,  World Mental Health Day and Suicide Prevention Day later in the year.

The Co-ordinators organised their own event last year which was well attended.

However, it was decided to hold off arranging a similar event for the time being in view of other changes taking place in the sector.
